The "Ruth Project" is a faith-based organization dedicated to empowering immigrants for safer and better futures.  Our clients are active agents of change in their own lives, and we work alongside these immigrants to help them become fully active members of their communities. The Ruth Project provides legal and social assistance in a compassionate and professional manner to our immigrant community.  We are recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals and have accredited representatives and volunteer social workers that are able to help clients with the following services:

  • Initial Consultations
  • USCIS Documentation Preparation
  • Legal Case Management (including immigrant victims of crime and victims of human trafficking)
  • Provide FREE Bible study and educational materials written by the Baptist General Convention of Texas on immigration
  • We are available to present to Churches regarding developing relevant and sustainable ministries that help immigrants along the path to United States Citizenship.
  • Public Education Forums Regarding Changes in Immigration Laws and Services Available to Immigrants
  • Connect Clients to Relevant Social Service Providers within the Waco Region

Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 1:00PM-7:00PM and Saturdays (by appointment only) 11:00AM-4:00PM. Please call (254) 297-7800 for more information.
